MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Sylvamo earned an 'A-' for leadership in environmental transparency and forests in 2023 from Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), improving its 2022 grade.
The company also received a 'B-' in water security after submitting its first water questionnaire and a 'C' in climate change.
CDP is a global nonprofit that runs the world’s largest climate and environmental disclosure system supporting companies, cities, states and regions. Scores demonstrate a company's disclosure and environmental performance, and the methodology provides a comparable dataset across the market.
