MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Sylvamo’s North American mills have a long history of meeting the needs of ballot printers and distributors during election season in the United States. The world’s paper company is supplying more paper to its customers this year than in previous years ahead of the November 2022 elections.
Major ballot printers report they have what they need to meet known demand, thanks to early planning that began in 2021. To date, Sylvamo has fulfilled all planned orders and found ways to be flexible to meet additional requests.
Accent® Opaque is ideal for paper ballots. Other Sylvamo products are used to make envelopes and other election materials.
During the 2022 election cycle, several factors are increasing the demand for printed ballots, including redistricting, expected voter turnout, motor voter programs and mail-in ballots. Laws in some states now require ballots are mailed to all registered voters whether or not they are requested.
Sylvamo is proud to contribute to the success of the election process.
