MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Three of Sylvamo’s senior leaders were recently appointed to positions at notable industry organizations.
Rodrigo Davoli, senior vice president and general manager, Latin America, will serve on the Board of the Brazil-U.S. Business Council for the 2023 term.
"Participating on this counsel allows Sylvamo to contribute to the construction of environmental, commercial, and investment agendas for both countries," Davoli said.
Launched in 1976, the Brazil-U.S. Business Council consists of senior-level executives from U.S. and Brazilian companies with a mission to stimulate business relations and advance the overall economic and commercial relationships between the two countries. Sylvamo operates paper mills in both countries that produce papers that people depend on for education, communication and entertainment.
Greg Gibson, senior vice president and general manager, North America, will chair the Printing and Writing sector and Kevin McWilliams, vice president tax, will chair the Tax committee at The American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA). AF&PA represents those who make the essential paper and wood products Americans use every day. They advocate for a strong and sustainable U.S. paper and wood products industry.
