WASHINGTON – Sylvamo joined Keep Us Posted, an advocacy organization composed of “individual Americans and allied organization united in the belief that a reliable, affordable U.S. Postal Service (USPS) is essential."
The group, led by former Congressman Kevin Yoder, lobbies policymakers and educates Americans on key issues surrounding USPS' affordability and reliability, including USPS leadership's proposed postage hikes and upcoming service delays.
“Our mission is to hold the Postal Service accountable and stop it from self-destructing," states Keep Us Posted's website. “We're equipping Americans with the facts and the tools to speak out. Together, we can preserve the Postal Service for future generations."
“The Postal Service must remain competitive and a trusted choice for Americans and business who rely on its essential services," said Elizabeth Bartheld, vice president, Government Relations, Sylvamo. “We are excited to join Keep Us Posted and ensure lawmakers understand the need for reliable mail delivery without excessive postage rate increases."
